Objective:
Develop and market a multi-gigabyte sampled instrument library, establishing Natural Studio as a leader in the field.
Summary:
As founder of Natural Studio, I began developing multi-gigabyte sampled instruments in my early twenties. My first downloadable piano library's unprecedented demand crashed one of Europe's main web servers, paving the way for the NS_KIT series, which was downloaded over 500,000 times. The series culminated in the release of NS_KIT7 in 2005, still one of the world's most extensive and detailed drum sample libraries, it received critical acclaim (plus two cover features) from Computer Music magazine, among others.

The popularity of this drum library helped establish my company as a leader in the field, with sales spanning over 40 countries. By 2008, NS_KIT7 had become internationally recognised, with Steinberg (one of the world's largest manufacturers of audio software and hardware) expressing interest in a buyout. I ultimately decided to sell the IP rights to NS_KIT7 to indie Canadian developer Atelier Robin in 2008, who continues to sell and distribute the library rebadged under the NaturalDrum moniker.
It has been a delightful bonus (almost sureal) to witness a subset of the library forming the default sample set of the innovative air-drumming product, Aerodrums. The above clip features Hungarian jazz-fusion virtuoso Gergő Borlai performing his composition "Matthew Garrison".
